Makita Gabriel

CEO/ Founder of Soul Vida™

Makita Gabriel is the creator of The Soul Vida™ Workout Method and Founder of Soul Vida Fit Pty Ltd, a wellness company passionate about making the world a healthy, fit and stress free place.

Makita is a Wellness Entrepreneur, Author and Mind Body Expert with over 28 years of experience in Body-Mind Wellbeing and teaching in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Makita holds certifications in Pilates, Yoga, Barre, Aerobic and Gym Instruction, Personal Training, Reiki I, Ki Force Healing Level I & II, Energy Medicine, Nursing and Counselling. She is the author of Soul Vida™ Body Breath and Soul, the ultimate guide to The Soul Vida™ Method, a wonderful inspiring and in-depth look at the ground breaking workout style meditations, that are transforming the world of fitness, health and wellbeing.

Her Workout, Meditate, Love Life philosophy celebrates, empowers and inspires movement, breath and mindfulness in Body Mind and Life.

Suzanne van den Heuvel

Yoga Instructor

Suzanne is a yoga teacher and personal trainer from The Netherlands and has recently moved to Perth to live here permanently. For the last several years she has worked with some of the best yoga studios and gyms in Amsterdam and has developed a very rewarding career, specialising in Yin (Yang) and Vinyasa yoga, posture correction and mobility training.

Committed to leading high-quality classes, Suzanne is experienced in teaching advanced groups to first-timers. It is important for her to create an experience where everyone feels welcome and comfortable.

In her free time, Suzanne loves to go on nature walks, trains in Jiu-Jitsu and spends a lot of time with her dog Bear. Prior to her career in Yoga and the movement arts, she has worked in marketing and recruitment which has taught her about the negative side-effects of the modern, sedentary lifestyle and really sparked her interest in health and movement. Suzanne’s goal is to help people find what works for their unique bodies and assist in developing a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Talia Steed

Yoga Instructor

Talia believes that yoga is for everyone and is a practice that we can incorporate into our lives both on and off the mat.  She has a gentle, slow approach, that encourages us to connect with ourself and find a sense of space and stillness within.

As a doctor and yoga teacher, Talia embodies the integrated approach to health and wellness.  She believes that we are whole human beings and that through movement, nutrition, self-awareness and connection we can find the depth of fulfilment we desire in our lives.

Yoga has been a part of Talia’s life for over 10 years and in that time she has found it a constant source of support, energy, joy and inspiration and sees herself as a lifelong student of this practice.

Talia believes in tuning into yourself and meeting your body on the mat where you are today.  This may be different from one day to the next and she sees herself as a guide to help others understand and listen to the messages and wisdom of the body.  Her practice is Hatha inspired but has evolved to a slower combined stretch and yin style, to facilitate a deeper full relaxation of body, mind and spirit.
